Study Level in Australia – How does AQF works?

In Australian education and training, the AQF serves as the national strategy for regulated qualifications. The qualifications from each education and training sector (schools, vocational, and higher education) are incorporated into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework, which is provided by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment in consultation with the states and territories.
The AQF’s facilitation of paths to and through formal credentials is one of its main goals. Additionally, it completes national systems for quality control and regulation of education and training. The AQF is divided into 10 levels, from certificate level one to doctoral degree level ten, with levels five through ten representing higher education awards.
